Scott Binder – Owner & President

Scott Binder began his medical sales career as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Dura Pharmaceuticals in 1992. He was the first rep hired in Alabama and quickly grew that territory into one of the top-performing territories in the country. He won the President’s Club award in four consecutive years and was promoted to District Manager in 1997.
In his role as a District Manager, Scott led the expansion of the sales team in the Southeast, and his team was consistently ranked among the top nationally. He won the President’s Club award twice as a District Manager and when Dura Pharmaceuticals was acquired by Elan in 2000, he was promoted to Regional Market Development Manager. Scott joined Duramed Pharmaceuticals as an Area Business Sales Director in 2004, where he continued to lead his sales team until 2008.
In 2008, Scott decided to pursue his passion for entrepreneurial endeavors, at which time he began Synergy HomeCare of Alabama – a private, non-medical home care business assisting the elderly. As President of Synergy HomeCare, Scott built this business from the ground up and in just three short years had 80 employees, hundreds of clients, and over $1MM in annual revenue. He sold that business to pursue a leadership role in medical sales recruiting.
As Owner and President of EliteMed, Scott is eager to see his vision for the organization thrive in months and years to come.
