At EliteMed Recruiting, we typically receive 25,000 – 30,000 resumes each and every month. Although the majority of our job postings specifically request “experienced medical device representatives”, about 95% of the resumes received lack relevant experience. However we have been very successful in transitioning those candidates into other medical sales positions.
Experienced Medical Device Sales Reps
If you are an experienced medical device sales representative, this means that you are currently selling medical device implants to surgeon customers in the operating room environment. This would include total joint reps, sports medicine reps, spine reps, extremity reps, and biologics reps. You cover cases, deliver instrumentation, consult with surgeons, and have an established territory.
If you are an experienced medical device rep, we encourage you send your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our Regional Recruiters will reach out to you to begin the interview process.
At EliteMed Recruiting, your experience counts!
Non-Experienced Medical Device Sales Reps
If you are not currently selling surgical implants, you need to know that there are paths that can assist you in obtaining your personal and professional goals. We’re here to help…
Candidates that fall into this category include pharmaceutical reps, durable medical equipment (DME) reps, most capital equipment reps, instrumentation reps, B2B reps, clinicians (DCs, nurses, scrub techs, etc.), recent college graduates, and other professionals (even those without sales experience) who are committed to transitioning into device sales.
